We hired Stonecraft to build a 400 sq ft room addition and a 300 sq ft covered porch. Danny, the supervisor, was always cheerful and a pleasure to work with. As little problems crept up during the build (as they always will), they bent over backwards to make sure we were happy.
The room and the porch look original to the house….you would never guess they were add-ons. Stoncraft builds a quality product!
We hired Stonecraft Builders to design and build our garage apartment and are very pleased with the final work product.
The garage apartment was a large undertaking and included a second level game-room/kitchenette, bedroom and full bath, plus a new garage and covered patio so we were a bit nervous about the project. We met with several contractors to discuss our project and quickly decided on Stonecraft Builders. Ali, the owner, gave us a fair price and was able to stick to the budget and complete the job within the agreed project timeline. Ali was also very flexible and agreed to use our design/construction contract which gave us the comfort we needed to undertake the job. Once the project began we were put at ease when we saw the skill and efficiency of the contractor and subcontractors. The construction site was kept clean and ongoing with very few delays though out the project. Our questions were always answered and problems addressed.
We have received many compliments on the work done, even from electricians, plumbers as well as from the City of Houston inspectors. Ali has done a great job for us and has even come back after finishing the project to tweak a few things here and there! It shows he cares about doing a professional job.
To extend our home outdoors and connect our house to our detached garage, we contacted Ali and Stonecraft Builders. Ali designed and built a wonderful patio that all of our guests were envious of. When we sold our home, the patio drew the biggest interest and it was the main item my wife hated to give up. My husband and I have used this builder/contractor before with excellent results. He was able to give us references to call as well as clients who were willing to show Stonecrafts’ work first hand. We originally wanted a screened- in porch and called many others contractors. For the price of a screened in porch quoted by other contractors, Stonecraft proposed a total sunroom complete with double pained windows and vaulted ceiling! I never thought we could afford such a room. This by far blew us away. We had a sunroom built in 2010 and were very impressed with the quality, price and speed at which the project was completed.
We naturally called Stonecraft when we were ready to convert our large attic into a bedroom, bathroom and office. Ali and his main foreman sat down with us until we came up with a workable plan that would be able to serve our family well for years.

I absolutely loooved my patio cover!! Stonecraft’s architect gave me three different choices of different views and sizes. The hardest part was waiting for the homeowner’s association to approve the work. When work began, everything went smoothly and they were in and out in just two weeks!! I love Stonecraft and recommend them to all my friends and family.
I bought a brand new home and wanted a patio cover and with an outdoor kitchen. I got several bids from different companies and even the original builder. Stonecraft has renovated several of my investment properties all around Houston. I know that I can trust Stonecraft with a fair evaluation. Their estimating process is top notch, and I received a detailed estimate for all my projects. They even help me get my home back to normal after a pipe leak in a master bathroom. As long as they keep working this way, I will keep using them.
I had a good experience with my kitchen remodel. Contractor did what I hired them to do. It took a little longer than what I was told it would take, but to be fair, there was additional work due to my termite damage. I would use them again.

Stonecraft Builders remodeled my flip property. I flip homes for a living and always use Stonecraft Builders. I have used them to add patio covers, remodel kitchens and bathrooms, make new cabinets, add granite. I have always mainly worked with Federico and I have found him to be honest and trustworthy. Whenever I have had an idea or concept that he didn’t like, he gives me an honest opinion, not just a yes man.
Everything went relatively well. Little problems came up, but I have gotten accustomed to problems in construction, but they would always do their best to resolve the problem quickly. I actually used them twice in since December. I had just bought two new properties. They started to work on the first property remodeling the home and getting them ready to put back on the market, and while they were working, there was a leak in a water line on the other home. I ended up having to file an insurance claim, and Federico took care of all the work. I didn’t even have to show up to the property. He negotiated the repairs with my insurance company and then quickly got the work done. They ended up finishing both homes recently, one in January and the other a few days ago.
All in all, I will continue to use Stonecraft and recommend Federico to all my friends.
Ali, the owner, met with us personally and took our rough drawing of concept and built out a beautiful space that everyone has loved. I felt that Ali took personal pride in the work being done. If there were anythings that needed adjustment he would get on the phone immediately and call the craftsman to come out and fix it.
I had gotten bids from other contractors and wasn’t sure I wanted to go forward with the project. Ali’s bid was in the range of what I had wanted to spend while other bids were way above what I had expected.
I would definitely use him again. In fact I am considering a few other projects and I will call him first. What impressed me the most was his personal attention, his pride in his work, his willingness to make things right and overall reasonableness of his bid. Quality does come at a cost. I believe Ali gives very good value.
We had Stonecraft Builders build a large covered patio with a hip roof, three fans, six can lights, and a very large concrete area.
The job went very well. Federico was incredibly nice. He handled everything very well, anytime I had a concern he responded promptly. We love our patio. Everyone who visits comments on how nice it is. I would definitely choose them again.
